MEET NOAH PFLAUM
When I decided to ask some of my fellow Barbarians for some input on a few of the players, Ryan Walker was quick to provide his thoughts (and “out there writing style”) about Noah Pflaum…
“Dignified. Subtle. Austere. Nutty. Medium-Bodied. Mouth-coating barrel-aged oak, with a hint of spiced smoky pepper, a drop of honey, and a warm peaty aftertaste… No, I’m not talking about that dusty 35yr bottle of Scotch on your grandpas liquor shelf, I’m talking about the one and only; Noah Pflaum.
A wizard of the spreadsheet, a maestro on the Peloton, a diners club lifetime member, and a pogo extraordinaire. No, I’m not talking about the most interesting man in the world. Again, I’m talking about the one and only; Noah Pflaum.
A picker. A grinner. A lover, and of course, a sinner. He’s a joker, a smoker, and from time-to-time, he’s even a midnight toker. He sure doesn’t want to hurt no one, and you’ll be damned if he doesn’t get his lovin’ on the run. Again, I’m not talking about Steve Miller Bands hit number one single ‘The Joker’, I’m talking about the one and only; Noah Pflaum!!”
How poetic. Thanks Ryan for the unexpected yet strangely accurate write-up.
Noah is simply the type of guy you want on your team. Calm, collected and straight up cool as a cucumber. When he attacks the line, you can feel his brain neurons firing as he pokes and probes … Looking for the smallest signs of weakness or misalignment before he rounds a gap or puts someone through one. Can’t wait to watch him carve up defenses at Nationals in St. Louis.
